He is mainly engaged in the research of linguistics and applied linguistics. He has successively presided over two scientific research and teaching reform projects of Jiangsu Provincial Department ofEducation. He published one monograph in foreign language teaching and Research Press and one monograph in Hohai University Press. He is the editorial board member of the textbook adaptation Committee of experiential Business English published by higher education press, and the chief editor of audio visual oral Volume I of experiential Business English. Several papers have been published in foreign language teaching, a CSSCI source journal. The paper (the application of Interlanguage Theory in foreign language teaching) won the second prize of excellent scientific research achievements of Hebei Provincial Department of education.
