Cheng Shuiying

Cheng Shuiying was born in 1974.10. Her degree is Master of Arts. In 2003, she graduated from The School of Foreign Languages, Guangxi University. Cheng Shuiying is a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University of Finance and Economics.

 

Work experience:

The main courses she has undertaken are Fundamental English, English Grammar, English Writing, Greek and Roman Mythology, Bible Reading and Chinese Culture. Her research interests are mainly in translation theory and practice. Since 2011, 7 books translated by Cheng Shuiying have been published.

3) The third prize in 2019 University Micro-course Competition of Jiangsu Province. 

4) The third prize in the foreign Language "Teaching Star" competition of FLTRP in June 2020. 

Awards for translated Works: 

1)     Platform Capitalism won the Best Translated Book Award at the 18th Biennial Conference of China-Canada Research Society in October 2019.

2)Fontainebleau: Mille ans d’histoire de France was shortlisted in the Social Science Category of the Fulei Translation and Publication Award (le Prix Fulei) in November 2019.
