Working experience:

Dr. Yang Yan, aCPC member, is currently a lecturer at Departmentof English Language, School of Foreign Languages, Nanjing University of Finance & Economics. She lectures undergraduates and graduates on Theory and Practice of Applied Translation, Business Interpreting, Advanced English 2 and 3, and Basic English Writing. She received a Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University, and her master’s and bachelor’s degree from Nankai University.

Research interests:

Dr. Yang’s research interests include translation studies, overseas Chinese studies, comparative literature, culture studies, and English teaching.Dr. Yang has published two papers in core journals includingChinese Translators JournalandJiangsu Social Sciences. She takes charge of one philosophy and social science project of universities in Jiangsu Province, and one teaching innovation project of Nanjing University of Finance & Economics. Herresearch is supported by the Young Scholar Program of Nanjing University of Finance & Economics.
